What is Spartython?
Michigan State University Dance Marathon is a student-run philanthropy organization that raises both monetary support and awareness for the needs of children and young adults at the Sparrow Children's Center. Students raise funds creatively and energetically throughout the year through personal campaigning and sponsored fundraisers throughout East Lansing.
In addition to fundraising, MSUDM hosts events throughout the year to help foster relationships between registered participants, students, the East Lansing community, and the families that benefit from our funds.
Ultimately, we are working towards organizing Spartython, a 8 hour event filled with dancing, entertainment, and fun. Spartython celebrates Sparrow families, our fundraising efforts, and the community relationships we have built throughout the year by challenging participants to stay active and standing for the kids that can't.
Year, after year, we have watched Spartans make miracles happen in our community. We hope you can be a part of that this year and help change the lives of miracle children and their families for the better.
